Well, I want to describe the days during which I have been staying at home since the COVID19 “Stay Home Order” was <\/span><\/p>\n

announced in March.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Some of the restaurants reopened and we can eat while seated on a patio, but not inside the building.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Also, beaches and trails are reopened.\u00a0 So areas in which we can do something are more available than before.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

However, from March to May 2020, we could go to just a few places such as\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u2460 Supermarket or pharmacy\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2461 Walk around my neighborhood<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Actually, I cannot stay in my home all day and I love to go out.\u00a0 So at the beginning, this situation was driving me crazy\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I almost screamed “I want to go somewhere!!! I want to go out for lunch with my friends!!!” every day.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Also, my husband and I love to cook meals, but we had to prepare breakfast, lunch, and then dinner every day. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It made us so tired.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We took turns cooking every meal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

However, once we’ve gone around our repertoires for a couple of times, we were getting bored doing it.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I cooked something from new recipes chosen from some cooking books.\u00a0 But that was just temporary and then I stopped doing it.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And if we go shopping for some groceries, there were long lines everywhere in front of every supermarket.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Nowadays are much better, but at that time we had to wait just to enter the market for more than 30 minutes and then wait again <\/span><\/p>\n

at the cashier.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We were exhausted just buying groceries.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Then we figured out that we can skip preparing lunch or dinner and take out from somewhere every few days!<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

So we made a list of restaurants that provide take-out service.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Thus getting take-out food from a place on our list is one of our enjoyable thing to do.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This is a Lebanese food restaurant in Westwood. I went several times and the food is so tasty.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is one of my favorite places and it is a somewhat fancy place.<\/span><\/p>\n

If I really want to have traditional Japanese sushi, not California rolls, and some fake sushi, I go there.<\/span><\/p>\n

This time, we order a 7 pieces combo box ($28.00)\u00a0and 10 pieces combo box ($48.00).<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Just a few weeks ago, I did take out from a famous sushi restaurant.\u00a0 But sushi rice was not tasty. I was disappointed.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It depends on the restaurant.\u00a0 Sometimes the food, when we eat at the restaurant, is fine, but take out is awful.<\/span><\/p>\n

On that point, Takao’s fish is fresh and sushi is tasty. We can be satisfied!<\/span><\/p>\n

They have some other menu items such as tempura and assorted bento box and so on.<\/span><\/p>\n

One thing different thing that comes with dinner is fried banana (plantains) called “Maduros”.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

My favorite dish is Camarones Al Ajillo (Shrimp with Garlic Sauce)<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
